Analogis SuperClean Starter Kit - FKA LencoClean

Cursed by some, applauded by others! This kit, designed for wet vinyl playback, is identical to the LencoClean, which was very popular in the last century (Analogis is the current owner of the original Lenco patents). And it must be said that the product works very well in the sense that noise and crackling are reduced almost to zero, there is hardly any wear on the record and needle, and problems with static are a thing of the past. But there is one big drawback! Once you play a record wet, you should basically keep playing it that way forever. If you play such a record 'dry' anyway, it will sound worse than ever and there will be persistent whitish residue. Only very thorough cleaning with a special vinyl cleaner (e.g. WalvisWater) can get the record completely clean again, but that is quite a job.

Walvis sells this product especially for all those enthusiasts who now own in themselves fine old / second-hand records that were once played wet in the past. There are still millions of these in circulation! If you have bought such a record unsuspectingly at a market, for instance, and you play this gem enthusiastically but otherwise unknowingly and suddenly have this dirty sediment sticking to your needle, you are probably dealing with residue of LencoClean and think you have bought a pig in a poke. Nevertheless, these kinds of records (provided they have no other problems) are still perfectly playable by simply playing them wet as before. And you might like it so much (because it really does work perfectly) that you choose to play all your records this way!

Please note: the liquid is not suitable for use with old (Bakelite) 78 rpm/10-inch records; the liquid contains alcohol and such records do not tolerate it well.
